Food Kits

 

This kit contains just-add-water meals for 3 meals a day for 6 months.  It is designed around the number of servings per day needed for good nutrition according to our registered dietician.  The majority of the items are freeze-dried for great taste and nutrition.  This kit includes the following selections per day:  2 main course entrees with real meat, over 4 servings of vegetables, 2 servings of fruits, breakfasts, about 11 servings of breads/cereals, drinks, and some snacks and desserts.  We have included a large variety of foods from our complete selection of foods.  If you desire larger servings or are especially fond of a particular item you will want to supplement this unit with additional items.  This kit includes 147 #10 cans (24.5 cases) 

12 #10 cans: 16 bean mix, black turtle beans, garbanzo beans, great northern beans, kidney beans, lentils, baby lima beans, split green peas, pinto beans, refried beans, small red beans, small white beans.

12 #10 cans: butter powder, buttermilk powder, cheese blend, cheddar cheese, whole eggs, egg whites, regular non-fat milk, sour cream powder, 4 instant non-fat milk.

6 #10 cans: freeze-dried peas, freeze-dried corn, freeze-dried cauliflower, freeze-dried asparagus, freeze-dried broccoli, freeze-dried green beans.

12 #10 cans: 6-way rolled grain, 7-grain mix, pearl barley, yellow cornmeal, flax, elbow macaroni, egg noodles, quick rolled oats, regular rolled oats, popcorn, white long grain rice, spaghetti.

This package contains both dehydrated and freeze-dried items, sprouts, non-hybrid seeds, approximately 60 lbs sweeteners, 225 lbs wheat, 150 lbs other grains, 70 lbs legumes, more than 4 servings vegetables per day, 2 servings of fruits per day, 10 lbs sprouts, approximately 60 lbs milk, plus additional dairy products. If you want larger servings, you will want to supplement with additional items. You will want to add on 2 gallons of oil and spices to this list. You will also want to invest in a grain mill, a water filter, and a way to cook such as a sun oven. You will want to store from 40-68 degrees for the best shelf life. In addition to the six traditional flavors, Mix-A-Meal has added five more flavors for better taste and wider variety. All twelve flavors ─Almond, banana, butterscotch, chocolate cream, cinnamon, coconut, lemon, maple, orange, pineapple, strawberry, vanilla─ are easy to measure and will not bake out when heated.
